About
Hi! I'm Kasey, a Registered Psychotherapist and the owner of Kasey Sharp Psychotherapy.

I help young to middle-aged adults and couples understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck so they can build more compassionate, authentic, and fulfilling relationships, with themselves and with others.

From the outside, you may appear to have it all together. You may be someone who is used to holding things together, showing up for others, and striving to do your best, yet quietly carrying feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, or disconnection. You may be navigating patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, or overthinking, or relationship challenges such as breakups/separations, communication difficulties, or family conflict, or the emotional impact of living with a chronic illness. At the heart of this work is a desire to better understand yourself, your experiences, and the patterns that shape the way you relate to yourself and others.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in relational therapy and integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic principles. I am an IFS-informed therapist, having completed Level 1 training through the Internal Family Systems Counselling Association (IFSCA).

My own experience living with chronic illness led me to this work. I know how meaningful it can be to feel truly seen. While your story will be different from mine, I understand what it's like to carry something difficult that isn't always visible to others, and I bring that perspective into my work with empathy, authenticity, and care.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are. It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they deepen their understanding of themselves, heal old patterns, and create lasting change. If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, I’d love to connect through a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if working together feels like the right fit.
